Pre event Massage
A pre event massage is used before activity to prepare the body for exercise. It can take place any where, a few days or a few minutes before the event.
A few days before the event the treatment will be to lightly flush or stretch, minor treatment is acceptable but nothing that will compromise your performance
A pre event massage can also be a relaxing experience. A relaxing pre event massage aims to decrease stress levels and calm nerves before important competitions or races
A stimulating pre event massage is vigorous and prepares people mentally for performance.

Post Event Massage
Post Event massage allows the body to recover from physical activity by easing delayed onset muscle soreness. It also helps to increase blood circulation, remove metabolic waste and helps regain normal muscle resting lengths. I will assist in the identification of any injuries or conditions that may need further attention.
Post event massage should take place 2 to 6 hours after the event and should last for 15 – 20 minutes
Post massage is still beneficial a few days after and the session can be longer
